When a hire, an investigation, or an audit is questioned, the record has to hold up. Compliance, responsible AI, and security are how Honeit is built.

Compliance
What Makes It Compliant
Every action on every interview is logged: who scheduled it, who joined, who viewed the recording, who edited a scorecard, and when. When a hire or an investigation is questioned, you have a complete, time-stamped record.
Every interview is transcribed and full-text searchable. Find every mention of a topic across hundreds of interviews and multiple years. A record you can't search is a record you can't defend.
Configurable retention and deletion policies that match your legal and regulatory obligations. Role-based access controls. Organization-owned data, not scattered across personal accounts.
Built-in consent capture and disclosure workflows, so candidates and interviewees are properly informed. Documented, consistent, and applied to every interview the same way.
Who Relies on This
Stay interviews, exit interviews, internal mobility, and especially HR investigations all need documented, defensible records.
Public-sector hiring is fairness-mandated and audit-bound. Every interview has to be consistent, logged, and reviewable.
Healthcare, finance, and other regulated employers face scrutiny on hiring decisions. A searchable, logged record is the baseline.
Responsible AI
Honeit never talks to a candidate. No AI interviewer, no bot, no automated phone screen. A real recruiter conducts every conversation. AI joins only as a silent note-taker.
AI organizes the conversation into a structured scorecard. The recruiter fills it in. There is no algorithmic candidate score, no AI-generated rating, no automated ranking of one person against another.
Hiring managers choose who advances. Honeit does not shortlist, filter, or rank candidates. No one is screened out by an algorithm. The decision is always a person's, and it's always documented.
Why We Built It This Way
NYC Local Law 144 and the EU AI Act draw the same line: the legal risk lives in tools that score, rank, screen, or recommend candidates. Honeit does none of that. It records and transcribes. So it isn't an "automated employment decision tool" under Local Law 144, and it's built to fall within the EU AI Act's narrow-task exemption from high-risk AI. The hiring decision stays fully human. That's not a workaround. It's the safer architecture.
Security
SOC 2 Type I complete; Type II assessment in progress. Documentation available under NDA for security review.
Data encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Interview recordings and transcripts protected throughout their lifecycle.
Granular, role-based access controls. Interviewers, hiring managers, and admins see exactly what they should, and nothing more.
Configurable data residency for multi-region organizations, and retention policies that match your obligations.
